During our recent family vacation at Yudanaka Yasuragi, we were embraced by the charming atmosphere of this traditional ryokan. The children, ages 3 and 5, particularly appreciated the spacious bedrooms and the private onsens, where we could unwind as a family. Our hosts, a wonderfully accommodating couple, transported us to the nearby Snow Monkey Park-an unforgettable experience for the entire family, filled with playful monkeys. We indulged in a delightful kaiseki dinner, which was thoughtfully prepared and showcased the region's flavours. The abundance of food necessitated a light lunch, so as not to miss out on the culinary adventure the evening meal provided. The ryokan is within walking distance of local restaurants and offers friendly service, creating a welcoming environment for families. On our departure, our hosts returned my forgetful cardigan, a testament to their attentiveness. Yudanaka Yasuragi is a splendid choice for families seeking a blend of culture, relaxation, and captivating nature.
